Sinister film ending

Ellison and his family move back to their previous home. The Deputy tries to call Ellison. However, Ellison refuses to accept the call.

Ellison climbs up to the attic. He shockingly finds movie box he burned in fire back at the previous home. In the box, there is an envelope with film end cuts that he didn't see the first time.

Ellison accepts Deputy So-and-So's call. The Deputy informs him there is a pattern in the murders. The families have all lived in the same homes. Ellison investigates further to make the connection.

Ellison connects the film end cuts together. He watches the film footage again, this time noticing the missing children in fact murdered their families. The so-called missing children are the possessed murderers.

Ellison is about to drink more coffee. There is green poison inside the mug. He reads the note Ashley colors for him reading, "Sweet Dreams Daddy." Ellison sees his daughter standing at the doorway. He passes out.

In the middle of the living room, the hanging film is playing again. Ellison, his wife and Trevor are tied up. Ashley is holding a film camera in one hand and is dragging an ax. Ellison's mouth is covered, so his yells go unnoticed.

Ashley tells Ellison she will make him famous again. She butchers her family, this is implied once we see the blood splatter down the hallway. It appears like a Jackson Pollock painting. Ashley painted her usual unicorns and animals in blood.

Ashley draws a picture of her family with missing body parts. She get the gist of how she butchered their limps, head, and remaining body parts in a gruesome slaying.

The previous children approach. They draw closer to the film screen. Ashley watches the children that went missing because they were consumed soon after murdering their families.

Bhagul possesses the children to kill their loved ones. Once the children complete their mission, Baghul carries them into the film footage. Baghul appears behind Ashley. He lifts her up and enters the film screen.

The movie box is ready to recycle the possession again. It is a continuous theme that watching the super 8 footage opens a portal to The Astral Hell. Baghul emerges, and then possesses the most vulnerable child.

No main characters survive the Sinister ending. Ellison and his family are murdered. Ashley joins the deceased children inside the footage. Baghul carries out his insidious plan as the eater of children.

Top 10 Horror Movie Endings

Horror movie endings create a thrilling movie experience. Many moviegoers watch horror movies because they enjoy terror, gore, fear, thrills, chills, and suspense. Recent horror movies continue to serve up rather boring movie endings. The top 10 horror movie endings differ among horror movie fans.

Horror fans prefer to watch horror movies with great stories, especially those which build suspense like an emotional roller coaster ride. Humans enjoy the fear of the unexpected. We keep seeing the same cliche movie endings that attempt to convey creativity through executing ineffective twist endings (i.e. The Devil Inside). However, past horror movie endings treat the moviegoer to suspenseful conclusions.

The top 10 horror movie endings create a thrilling experience. These movie endings are ingrained in our movie minds forever. We never forget the end of the movie. Many movie discussions about horror movies emerge on the web, in film schools, at film festivals, in film groups, and across movie networks. We love horror movies because the fear of terror produces a flight and fight experience.

Essentially, horror movies are just as entertaining as scary roller coasters. Horror movies open with a setup to establish the conflict and the characters. We remember The Exorcist movie quite well. The Exorcist ending is the best horror movie ending ever. A Nightmare on Elm Street made us fear sleep. Horror movies changed the way we view negative experiences. For the most part, moviegoers pay to watch gore. Saw movies are infamous for conveying torture porn to mass movie audiences.

The Top 10 Horror Movie Endings (may contain movie spoilers):
  1. The Exorcist (1973) (we will never forget the young possessed Linda Blair playing a demon child. Her speaking in ancient tongue, yelling profanities, and vomiting projectile green slime, and murdering two exorcists are enough to stay clear of this exorcism movie that we enjoy the Hell out of)
  2. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) (Freddie Krueger has a long-lasting impact on our dreams, with the Freddy Krueger nightmare continues on after peace is established)
  3. The Ring (2002) (never watch mysterious video tapes with creepy images. Samara will come after your father to scare him to death. Please destroy a strange video tape as quickly as you can)
  4. The Omen (1976) ( (an eerie Devil child causes his entire family to die, which his evil plot lives on with another family. Devil movies have a resounding evil that keeps us on edge)
  5. The Thing (1982) (You can't escape this Thing that mutates - the music with two last survivors waiting to the confront a savage Alien entity that mimics a human is chilling)
  6. Dawn of the Dead (2004) (The last remaining survivors escape to a distant island, only to find that zombies are there to welcome them. What a disaster that conveys the end of the world by a zombie apocalypse)
  7. Hellraiser (1987) (Pinhead's evil stare is enough to make horror fans turn away at the movie ending)
  8. Phantasm (1979) (Another classic horror movie ending that makes the moviegoer jump at flying metal balls)
  9. The Blaire Witch Project (1999) (Michael facing the wall is a terrifying ending to a witch hunt!)
  10. The Shining (1980) (One of Stephen Kings' best books ends with reincarnation. It makes for a perfect ending by a great visionary director, Stanley Kubrick)
There is something spooky about classic horror movies. Classic horror films employ grainy film and vivid colors that add emotional depth to the viewing experience. We view bright red motifs as evil. Do you have a favorite horror movie ending? Share your horror movie endings below.

10 Movies with a Good Ending

Hundreds of movies are released into the movie box office each year. Millions of moviegoers visit movie theaters to watch their favorite movies. With super blockbuster movies The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises collecting massive ticket sales, the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Break Dawn Part II will rank 2012 as one of the most lucrative box office movie years ever. Of these movies, how many past and present movies have a good ending?

The Dark Knight Rises is making ending news. Christopher Nolan's final installment in the third and final Batman movie features a busy ending with twists, surprises, tricks, and clues. Nolan signed on with Warner Bros. to make Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises movies. In the latest Batman movie, comic book, superhero, and Batman fans are searching all across the web to discuss The Dark Knight Rises ending. The TDKR ending is a hot topic.

Do you think the Batman film has a good ending? Should The Dark Knight Rises make it on a list of movies with a good ending? There is confusion about how does the movie end. Are there multiple movie endings? A few twist endings, surprise ending and a cliffhanger? The final The Dark Knight Rises movie has a good ending. We like the movie ending enough to place it on a list of the best movies with a good ending.

The ending is extremely important. Moviegoers possess the word of mouth influence to impact the movie box office. This past January 2012, The Devil inside movie delivered one of the highest grossing January openings, collecting $34.5 million in ticket sales. However, the bad ending impacted its remaining box office run.

In the weeks to come, the exorcist movie collected less than $20 million to finish at around $54 million. Whereas The Devil Inside movie is successful in terms of production budget ($1 million) to box office estimates of $54 million, the possession movie demonstrates that a good ending can increase ticket sales.

Movies with a good ending create buzz. Moviegoers enjoy a movie that has a good ending. We like those happy endings that compliment the movie premise. The inciting incident, the turning point and the resolution should link together to resolve the conflict or at least confront the movie questions. Twist endings explain the movie to viewers left in the dark (no pun intended) at movie screenings.

We compiled a short list of movies with a good ending. The movies may not have the best endings ever, but they are quality movies that have a good ending to explain the plot.

The following 10 movies have a good ending:
  1. The Sixth Sense
  2. The Usual Suspects
  3. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises ( together as a trilogy)
  4. Seven
  5. Gladiator
  6. The Orphan
  7. Titanic
  8. 16 Candles
